Hello Nor’wester Friends and Families,
We are six days into first session here on Johns Island! Nor’wester activities are now in full swing. The adobe oven has been churning out all sorts of good treats, challenges have been faced on the ropes course, boats are going out from the waterfront, and many arrows have been shot on the archery range! The first bullseye of the summer went to a Pioneer on his birthday!
We’ve had two all camp campfires at the campfire stage so far. There are some very talented and silly campers/staff in our midst this summer. We’ve attached some silly shots for you to enjoy.
Here are a few glimpses into the Nor’wester Waterfront program. Lots of units have visited the waterfront this week! Our waterfront program has a lot to offer from beachtime to canoeing to kayaking to sailing. The Waterfront is gearing up for overnights and trips. Big Trips for the four oldest units are just around the corner!
First Session Visitor’s Days are coming up on July 16th and 17th. If you are already signed up, camp will be in touch soon! If you haven’t signed up for a spot on the Anacortes Boat or Roche Harbor Barges, please contact us soon. Space is running out and we would love to see you at camp this summer!
