We are getting ready to load the office into the Uhaul tomorrow and head for Johns Island.  The van is full of Trader Horn supplies; including significant amounts of sweets, boxes of laundry soap and a Bocce Ball set!  We have volunteers coming this weekend to help start setting up tipis and our Wilderness First Aid training course begins first thing Monday morning.

We have had 3 days in a row of sun, which is encouraging after the wettest spring on record – that’s saying something for the Pacific Northwest!  As you prepare for the summer make sure you pack some sort of rain gear.  If we all come prepared chances are good we will have a record breaking number of sunny days.

My goal is to post some sort of entry at least once a week to give an update on what’s been going on and what’s coming up.  Our satellite internet connection has made upload photos a challenge in the past but I will give it a shot again this year.

We should be back on-line by Friday.
