Scholarship Information
Our Program
We offer a limited amount of Financial Aid in order to make the camp experience available to a broader community of campers. On average, approximately 20-25 families receive assistance each year.
We typically award partial scholarships and everyone is asked to cover at least their camp store deposit ($100 for 4-week campers, and $50 for 2-week campers). The actual amount of an award will be determined by financial need and other factors that are described in the financial aid materials. In general our focus is on families with a gross income of $50,000 or less.
Selection Guidelines
The scholarship selection committee will prioritize the list of applicants based on the following guidelines:
Returning Campers
- Returning scholarship recipients may reapply for funds for three years as long as they meet the application deadlines. After three years, these applicants may still apply but will only receive funds if there is money left over in the current year scholarship fund.
- Returning scholarship applicants will be given priority over new applicants just as returning non-scholarship campers are over new campers as long as they meet application deadlines. Returning camper applicants must have their camper applications in by November 30th to ensure their spot and their scholarship forms in by December 31st.
New Campers
- New camper applicants must have turned in all their forms (Camper and Scholarship) by December 31st.
- It is recommended that families submit their Camper application as soon as their child has decided to attend and not wait until December 31st. New camper applicants are enrolled on a first come, first serve basis beginning December 1st. Submitting your Camper application early will secure a space for your child until the Scholarship awards have been finalized.
How to Apply
The application process is time sensitive. Please refer to the schedule below. Camp applications and Scholarship applications can be downloaded from this site. You can also have the applications mailed to you by calling the camp office at 360.468.2225.

Scholarship Deadlines
Note: Applicants who have turned in their forms after the due dates (November 30th and December 31st) will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis as long as funds and spaces are available.
- November 30: Returning Camper Applications due.
- December 31: Returning Camper Scholarship, New Camper Application, and Scholarship forms due.
- January 15: Scholarship Committee review of all applications submitted by the above deadlines.
- March 15 to 30: Second review of additional applications coming in after the above deadlines. Funds will be awarded based on date of application, availability of funding, and availability of space.
