Everyone arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon.  The stars aligned for a seamless Travel Day, with only a few sleeping bags going temporarily AWOL.  By bedtime all campers were reunited with their belongings, night-time medications had been distributed and teeth brushed.  The weather cooperated, providing scattered to cloudy skies but no rain until everyone was tucked into their beds.

Today is Orientation Day – all the units will visit all the departments to review safety rules and learn about the activities offered.  They will also meet with our Health Center staff to review general health issues.

So we’re off to a great start.  You should receive a postcard from both your camper and your camper’s counselors in the next few days.  If you don’t receive any correspondence from your camper after that, feel free to contact the camp office.  We are happy to give campers a gentle reminder that letters home are greatly appreciated.
