2023 Movie Tour

In January 2024, we will be premiering the Summer 2023 Movie in Seattle and Portland, before releasing the final cut of the movie on our YouTube channel and social media platforms to reach our community far and wide.

Come one, come all! Bring a friend who might be interested in learning more about Nor’wester!

The movie will feature highlights from this past summer’s camp sessions on Johns Island. We are excited to connect with campers, staff, and alumni and to celebrate last summer and look ahead to 2024!

Seattle – Saturday, January 20, 3:00pm – Garfield Community Center, 2323 East Cherry St, Seattle, WA 98122

Portland – Sunday January 21, 3:00pm – Century Tower, First Floor, 1201 SW 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97205

Nor’wester on the Road

Generally each year during the fall and winter seasons, the Nor’wester Movie Tour travels to several cities across the west. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we are starting to bring back more in-person movie showings.  These gatherings are an opportunity to meet the Directors and learn more about the Nor’wester program.  Alumni, past campers, and their families will also be at these gatherings and can offer their personal perspective. There is absolutely no obligation to enroll a camper at an Movie Show. And we love seeing returning campers and families there too!

We’d love to see you at one of our locations for our Movie Tour to learn more about Nor’wester and to join our community for a fun gathering.
