Greetings from our little slice of paradise!
Just want to let you all know that the campers arrived safely to Johns Island with enthusiasm at the forefront and backpacks in tow! We are grateful for the beautiful weather we had today, allowing campers to tour the island, settle in a bit and experience a comforting and delicious dinner in our open-air lodge/dining room.
We feel incredibly fortunate to get to spend this quality time with your camper and are looking forward to many rich experiences together. Over the coming weeks, I will be posting some pictures and providing you with interesting tidbits on various parts of our program and session, but the real details of your camper’s experience will come directly from them at the end of camp. You have given them a wonderful gift by supporting their camp experience and helping them discover new character traits, gain independence and grow new friendships.
Our evening came to a close with a beautiful sunset and then a star-filled sky with a crescent moon overhead. Truly, a perfect opening day.
