Returning with Stories to Tell

Second Session ended yesterday with lots of tears, laughter, and hugs. The final weekend of Camp is sure to be remembered for many years. As campers come home with trunks overflowing, grass in inconvenient locations, and maybe a few scratches from playing outside, we hope they also come home with many stories to share.

We hope your campers will tell you about the close-call tug o’ war during the Cascade Games. Were they a Bear or a Raven? Which team won?

Maybe your campers will tell you about Friday night’s Canoe Welcome and Salmon Bake, the first such night we’ve had in a few years. Did the food taste better cooked on the beach and eaten sitting in the grass with friends?

Perhaps they will tell you about the song they sang at the final Musicale or a piece of wisdom shared by one of the team captains during the Banquet speeches.

How did your camper describe the magical night of dances that friends of Camp shared in the Bighouse?

We hope your campers will describe the joy and the tears of the final night of singing.

We hope campers have so many stories to share that they continue to do so for months to come. And we hope to see them all again next summer.
