Goodbye, Second Session!

2020-08-19T23:36:15-07:00August 22nd, 2017|Uncategorized|

Camp is strangely quiet this afternoon, even as the gulls call to one another and the waves lap against the shore. Banana Slug Sculpture

An exciting creation has been taking shape at Camp this week! We’re privileged to have Camp alumna Kim Frey and her family with us as part of our artist-in-residence program. Kim is an artist and educator in Philadelphia, and she was previously on staff at Nor’wester as the ceramics instructor in 2006 and 2009. Over [...]

Anchor Day Makes a Splash!

2020-08-19T23:36:16-07:00August 1st, 2017|Uncategorized|

Once a week, the entire Camp gathers together for a day of mutual reflection, engagement, and sharing. We call this special day "Anchor Day" because it offers us a consistent touchpoint for connecting to one another and to our values as a community. This past Sunday, we had our first Anchor Day of Second Session. [...]
